Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jim, I'm 50 Y/O. I'm a retired Airline Pilot. Yes I had to retire early. I've had a couple of heart attacts, and a pacemaker running my heart. I had to sell my 2007 GT, and was heartbroken. Hmmm, no pun intended. After just spending another 2 weeks in the hospital I decided to do something for myself. So, I dipped into one of my accounts and went on the hunt for a new toy. I found a 1997 Cobra mustang with 45,000 miles on it! The car looked beautiful in all it's Laser Red glory. So I made a deal and took it off the gentlemans hands. My heart has never felt better. The car is not fully stock but the mods are a great base to start with. CAI, under drive pulleys, upgraded alternator, MSD coils, aluminum driveshaft, welded in subframe connectors, and strut tower brace. Oh and flowmasters. I'm in love again with my Mustang! I look forward to reading the posts here and learning all I can.
