New Guy from San Diego

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
just wanted to come introduce myself. My name is Josh, I have a 89 Hatchback that is in oober rough shape, but I have plans to do a little restore and make it a DD. Im off to a better start than the previous owner, who completely destroyed the car. I added a pic just so you can see how bad of shape the car is in. Plan on leaving the car performance wise right where it is, and just focusing on making it a sharp little car. Mods that i plan on is replacing the interior (looking into the black, but may stick with gray), 2" cowl hood, GT Bodykit, diamond clear headlights, GT Tails, Cobra R's, and a slick/cheap paintjob. My budget is 5 grand and i only have about 600 bucks in her now.

I was stationed at Miramar. I got out of the Marines and am working on my degree. I go to class on Miramar and am always at the hobby shop. That's where my car is right now actually.
