Ok so im changing the stock headers on my mark VIII engine im throwing in my 97 Gt and cant decide which ones to go with. I would like to do long tubes, but I hear bad things about the bassani mid lenghts. I wan to get cermaic or jet hot coatted for looks and longevity, just want to hear most common used and liked brands and such.
Thanks Eric

I used a set of the Bassanis on a customers 97 Cobra, fit was very nice and they bolted up with no issues at all. I did put the supplied insert gaskets and then also use the stock gaskets to prevent any leaks.....

I don't think SRP came out with a set of long tube headers yet to fit a B-head car, on the PI heads cars I use their stuff exclusivly, nice fit, stainless and ceramic coated... Their headers, removable cat X-pipe and 02 cheaters run just about $1400.00

ok sounds good, i was going to use the stainless bassani mids but a budy of mine says his leak really badly bc of the design. You said urs seal up nicely?

Never had any leaks, but like I said I did use the supplied insert gaskets and the stock gaskets since I heard of issues, a little hightemp silicone at the slip joint and no leaks what so ever...
