new heads, got a question though

hey guys put a set of edelbrock performer rpm's 2.02 1.60's on my 302, k now im not really impressed with the money i spent and the performance i received. but i was wondering, these heads are used but have less than 5000 miles on them, and i was wondering can these heads have valve springs in them for solid lifters? mines a hydraulic roller just a guess,if not i guess all i need is to keep getting bigger components then to match those heads

Well, what other mods do you have besides a set of heavy breathing heads? Are they choked down with a stock cam, intake, or exhaust? I've never heard of Edelbrock Performers coming with solid roller springs.
