Hey all, I have been offered a new set of victor junior iron heads with a new set of 1.7 roller rockers for 700 dollars. I have seen them and they are all new in box still. Good deal? Should these play nice with an E303, bbk throttle body, C&L 73mm mass air, and 24 lb injectors? Don't want to build a mismatched motor, block should be going in for machining next week, lower end will be pretty much stock unless I find a deal on rods/pistons.

They are really iron Edelbrocks?

The Victor Jrs are a pretty good sized head and would probably be well suited to either a 347 or 351W. I doubt you would realize anywhere near their full potential on a mild 5.0. The 2.08 valve will definitely need piston clearancing.

I'd like to have some for my 351W, though.

No such thing as iron victor jr heads, you probably meant iron winsdor jr heads.

Victor jr heads have a 2.05" intake valve.

Yes he probably did mean windsor jr. heads because victor jr.'s are aluminum. But they do have versions of them with 2.08" intake valves. As well as 2.10" intake valves. They are a little more expensive because the intake runners, cc's, and exhaust chambers are bigger also.
