Hello just found this group. I have a 2000 v6 convertable 5spd. Love it. Looking to put my inside speakers on an Amp. Why are the front speakers the bass and rear speakers regular. Plus the front speakers are connected to so.e tweeters. I'm confused as to why this is.

Mostly due to speaker placement and the distance frequencies have to travel to unfold.
The other portion has to do with what room they had left for speakers when the car was finished otherwise.
If you're planning to add an amp and more power then you must also be planning to replace the speakers. Adding power to the factory speakers will not get you where you want to be.
