Hi all I am new here and looking to buy a first car for my daughter. She wants a 60's Mustang but funds aren't there for that a II is a push. But anyways we are in Kansas and need a driver. I don't care if it needs work but I have cancer and don't have time, funds, or the energy for a full blown restoration. We are not to picky on options, engine, or color but she thinks she has to have an automatic. Can't wait to see some of these cool little rides.

-Search Craigslist http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/ks for your area. Just choose a large city near (or in) where you live. Always seem to have good luck here in the Portland, OR/Vancouver area.

-The SN classifieds might have a few hits for ya.

-As mean78 said, local classifieds/nickle ads.

-*sigh* Ebay still has stuff, just be careful and do NOT buy sight unseen.

Are there any members here on the boards that live in or close to Kansas? If there is, they might be able to set you up or point you in a direction to where some nice cars are hidden.

Thanks guys. I have been looking at all those places and nothing yet. Did see a couple shells (2) only 1 with a title. 700 for the pair and they have been sitting in the pasture for a couple years. If I was healthy I might have went for it. I just don't want to get half way done and have to start treatments or worse and not be able to finish it for her.
