im working on my 98 base model and am having some issues with the hood. i thought it was the cable but it didnt fix the problem. then i replaced the whole latch assembly. still no luck. it latched on tue first catch, but it just bounces on the spring. help?
Hah, well as fun as that looks, didnt do the trick. Ended up pounding out the little nub/tabs on the latch and adjusting the position. Didnt think i would have to pound crap out and remold the latch to make it work, but it did the trick. Thanks!
