I finally got around to posting after lurking here for a little while. My love for the Mustang goes back to when my uncle restored a beautiful blue-on-ivory1965 convertible back in the early 1980's. One look, and I was hooked for life. Desire, preparation, and opportunity all finally met up last September when I brought home my 2011 5.0L GT Premium Convertible, Race Red over Brick Red/Cashmere. I have added my own touch with a GT-CS/Boss 302 front lower valance, GT-CS/GT500 rear lower valance, GT500 rear wheel spats, and Ford Racing 19x9 gloss black "track pack" wheels (the Bremo package style with different finish) with the original pony tri-back center caps. This car attracts more attention than running naked down the middle of the street, and not a day goes by that I don't get at least one compliment.
And what fun to drive! This is my daily driver, and she survived this past winter without incident. 400hp + RWD in snow? Not a problem!
