New Moroso oil pan + tublar k member

I installed a new moroso 7 quart oil pan. I was installing the old block plate and the bottom of the block plate know hits the oil pan. So know the block plate keeps the bell housing from mounting flush against the block. I found a new one one on summitracing here is a link.

I was wondering if anybody has had this problem and did this new block plate fix the problem.

Also the oil pan i close to the sway bar about half inch.
