Well i've got about 750 miles and one oil change on my new motor...specs are in my sig. So everything is good so far and the car feels real strong...but i have a fairly noticable tick. Its mostly at low rpm....or just off idle. I have heard that a little ticking is fairly normal with roller rockers but im not sure how much ticking is too much. No other problems with the car, any help would be appreciated. thanks

im in the same boat as you man, i put cast-iron gt-40's n my car with crane 1:6 rockers, and they ticked like a mutha fucc@! so i just have my conventional ones on for now and they still make noise, just not head jarring

as for you, well i wouldn't be too worried aout it if i were you, if they're not makin too much noise, and it's just at idle and low r's, that sounds like it would be normal...

with the CC magnums, they should be slightly louder than your fuel injectors...not even really a tick...more like a cycling...I know it took a while for a friend of mines car to quiet down, but, honestly, they shouldn't make much noise at all. roller rockers as a general rule make a little more, but should never be so bad that it's louder than the exhaust.

try readjusting them. mine made some noise at first, but a readjustment took care of that

Eh if its not real loud dont worry.I just put on a set of Crane rockers (replacing my Scropions, whitch were adjusted and ticked),and they tick,go figuer. But I change cause the cranes are better made rockers.

...worst case scenario, if you put several thousand miles on it (prob'ly won't happen soon)you could disfigure the valvestem tips...(yeah right) or maybe collapse the lifter (more likely than the valve bit, but still not likely)

more than anything it'll just be annoying...
