First off, hi, I'm new here.

This is my first mustang and I have to say I love it. It's a 95 gt 5.0. Fun to drive and overall great car. Picked it up the other day for 2k. Runs perfect with 157k miles on it. It's all stock except for a 10 disc cd changer. Here's the pics. I took these with my phone so they didn't come out so great. My camera happens to be dead. There's a video of my just showing off at the bottom.

YouTube - 1995 Mustang Cobra GT 5.0

Mods Soon To Be Added

Spyder Headlights
Tradesonic Tail Lights
VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood
Dual Center Exhaust System
GTR Style Ground Effect Kit
Lambo Doors
Looking for a stereo harness, wire kit, and a ported speaker box that will fit in the trunk for my two 10" subs. If you know of a dual box I can get, let me know. Also looking to see where to get the Cobra rims too.

Cost To Finish: $3520.14 (hopefully done by august)

Well, it's just a GT - not a Cobra. The intake manifold is the stock GT one, and the gauges are not white. Looks like the previous owner just put the snake in the grille and a Cobra rear bumper.

Looks like a decent find, especially for that price. Welcome to :SNSign:

Yeah I was writing this post while looking at the pic with the broken tail light and cobra got stuck in my head lol. I'm gonna add a list of things I'm going to do to it in a min.

Please do not put those headlights and tail lights on the car. To each his own, but IMO it will ruin a nice car. Same for the body kit.....

I'm still undecided anyway. I want to make it unique but at the same time attractive and streamlined. First thing to do is to paint it. And I'm deciding on either electric blue or midnight blue.

I don't think the head and taillights would look nearly as dumb as "lambo" doors. They're a pain and look stupid IMO.....AND....Lambos don't even have "lambo" doors

Just to forewarn you, but if you add those lights and kit, prepare to be flamed. I'll do my best to keep the peace, but that stuff is kinda considered rice around these parts, even though it's a 94-98 version of the Saleen 99+ parts. Hell, adding 96-98 lights to a 94-95 is sacreligious to some people. Doesn't mean I'm not still going to put my 96-98 export tails on though.

It's either those lights or a HID kit. Yeah and lambo doors will most likely never happen.

First thing is to get a windshield for under $250. No one seems to have one grrr.

keep an eye on craigslist or e-bay places close to you, lots of times you can find factory take outs that are better than aftermarket glass

Found one for $145 installed. I need it so I can get it inspected. Plus a few other things. utah's laws are so strict. No aftermarket tint at inspection, can't even get the same % tint you would normally get on a stock vehicle.

looks like you got a decent deal on the car.

stock tails FTW!
i'm okay with the headlights, but be warned, most guys who get the one piece lights have horrible fitment issues.
that hood is a waste of money if you ask me. you can get the same hood for like $500 less in fiberglass.
center exhaust only if you do that body kit, doesn't look right otherwise
don't do lambo doors, not worth it.

Yeah I'm not doing the body kit, lambo doors or the headlights. Going with a smoked two piece headlight and I'll keep the hood stock for now. i am getting the dark tail lights though. I don't like chrome. It just looks tacky and something you bought off the shelf at checker. Everything will probably change when it comes time to buying it all.

Good call on the smoked headlights.

Get some paint and smoke the stock tail lights.

Cobra front bumper.

I was thinking of just getting a set of stock tail lights and keeping them that way. The windshield turned out nice though.
