Lol yeah I know. I'm just gonna hit the pick and pull this weekend and get a bunch of parts I need. There's a few issues with the car, but nothing I can't fix. Firstly though I need to change the thermostat, I believe it is bad, stays at cold on temp gauge. It overheated a little bit yesterday.

I want to get a body kit, but something that still keeps the same shape and aspect but different than stock. I don't want something that makes the car an inch off the ground. We have terrible driveway's here in utah and body kits are destroyed easily.

Yeah I'll probably get that, but that's down the road. Been at the pick and pull today getting parts and such.

Welcome! I say if your desperate for a body kit get a saleen style one. Always been a fan of that kit, especially should you decide to keep the car red! Like the smoked headlights too, just make sure that your local laws permit them. I can't have them here in nj because the cops would be all over me for them. I ended up getting "black beauty" headlights which give you the smoked look without the potential legal complications. Regardless of what you decide to do, the most important part is to enjoy every second of that car!

Yeah, I'm not going to get smoked headlights. They are legal here, but I just don't like them.

In my experience, body kits are like tattoos. Seems kind of cool at first . . .

Still, the Saleen has a decent look but it's really expensive and why bother if you're car doesn't have the GO to back up the bling. I say just do stock lights (or 96-98 tails if you MUST since they're cheaper), then get the suspension and motor all cleaned, tuned and repaired. At least you will have a realiable, fun car until you can afford to go crazy with it. Don't do what I did and TRY going crazy with it whithout the funds to back up the whole project.

True. Which is the route I am going to go. There's a few problems as there would be with a used car that need to be taken care of. Everything mechanical and body that needs fixin' is gonna get it first.
