im pretty happy with the results considering the shop temp was 93* with 100% humidity! this was the 8th pull out of 10, so it was pretty hot, it makes power to 6700, the starts to slightly nose over after that! and it gained a ton of low end tq with the MHS cams will be going to the track next week! hoping for 12.teens....

STD numbers were 336rwhp/312rwtq

I know this is an old thread, I was just browsing the net looking for more info on npi ported/polished heads, with pi intake & cams and I found this. I think these number are impressive. I have an 97 gt with the basics; k&n cia, bbk 70mm throttle, upper plenum, bbk aluminum pulley kit, bbk shorties (will be switching to long tubes), 2500 stall, and bama sct tune. I have pi cams and pi intake that are not installed at the moment, an I am looking to have my npi head rebuilt p&p. Could you possibly post your you had at the time, am just taking notes, I am also planning on procharging it.

Really big hood (+50hp).

jk. I've read 98cobra's progress/build threads and he does some impressive work on his car. He has obviously done a very good port job by himself on those npi heads. I'm looking for an 11 second time slip thread any day now this spring.

Haven't been to these forums in a while... Thought I'd creep on your car, Cobra. It's come so far since I started posting here 3+ years ago. Looks badass and goes like stink now. Props on all your hard work! A 336rwhp NA NPI 2V is nothing to shake a stick at. Keep it up, man.
