First off want to say THANKS to [email protected] RWTD! IMHO the BEST tuner out there and done an amazing job....spent alot of time with the tune and made sure it was dead on! I couldnt believe how much little stuff he tweeked to make sure everything was RIGHT....LOTs of stuff that I didnt even know about! Car runs SOOOOO smooth now its rediculous
. No on to the #s
Well didnt make quite as much as I expected, but the performance the car puts out is amazing! Things a BEAST!
3.10 upper with a 6# lower.
James also gave me the files in the .dlf format so I can look at them and thought I would use this time to show you guys the difference in SAE, STD, and UNcorrected...being the same pull minus the very last graph.
First off the familure SAE and I used an adverage 3 smoothing (+1HP from 0 vs 5..so smoothing doesnt make a HUGE impact on #s)
Second is the STD #s...lot of places use this as well, really to make good #s.
third is UNCORRECTED...this is teh ACTUAL amount of power the car put down without any fudging from the program based on weather.
Last one here was my biggest #s..run 005, but thats @ 12-1 A/F and James later put it down to a safer 11.8. STD correction...can compare to the above STD 007 run.
One thing id like to say though is that even though my porting didnt seem to do a WHOLE lot on the dyno (would have made MAYBE 470 MAX without the port...pulleying past the 6#lower only I had, doesnt do much of anything for HP...basically just torque gains) , the IAT2 temps went WAY down and stayed down even after pulls. It helps out ALOT in that department, and was well worth it JUST for the cooler charge it gives me...= more consistant performance and better real world results.
he also let me compare to a STG 4 steggy ported blower with a 2.76 upper (im not pullied much past this...2.76 + 2# lower= same as 3.1/6# combo) and that car with 1* more timing made 483/474....mine made 476/502. So I think it turned out very well.
BTW WHYASK looks to have gotten the closest on #s. All I asked for for HP,and his guess of 473 looks to be it. GREAT job bro!
