new o2 sensors, new harness, high idle??

Unbolt it and get it out in the open where you can see what you are doing...

so when i look into the computer itself at the pins, #1 is the top right and #60 is bottom left?

i gotcha, thanks. i also made a diagram for myself to make sense of it, figured id share it. i still dont understand fully how to read this dvm as an ohmmeter. (see next post)

when i turn on my dvm to 200 ohms range, this is what i see with the leads in the air (see picture attached). when i test the computer pins, the dvm doesnt change at all, it stays at 1__._ which worries me because im not sure if that should be read as 1.0 or as [out of range].

That looks like an open cricuit, which means that the computer has suffered some internal damage to the signal ground.

shux, do you think that picture is actually a sigrtn on a a9L? could i do that myself with some solder and a small wire?

It's possible. Some people can do a neat job on the small circuit traces and lands and others make a big mess. It is dependent on your skill and the tools used. You may want to find a TV repair place and have them do it. For an experienced technician, it's an easy 5 minute job.
