I vote new for all only because the boosters are a PITA to install. The prob with used boosters the newest ones are still 15+ years old. A lot of times the MC leaks at the rear and seems into the booster which degrades the rubber. Over time, it will leak.

I myself installed a used 95 booster...only to find it defective

As for MC's. Price depends on which one you get. IIRC you are install '96 cobra brakes? So the only two MC's you should be looking at are either the 94-95 Cobra MC or a 1993 cobra MC if you want a slightly stiffer pedal. Both are tough to find used and usually go for 75% of the cost of new anyway.

Check out rockauto.com for prices as well as local parts stores. I think i got my '93 Cobra MC new from them for ~ $95 or so? I need to order a booster too...so we'll see who has the cheapest Cardone unit.

IIRC, they made the OEM boosters...which is why I would want to purchase a booster from them

Boosters are the same, the 1993 cobra booster has the fox body stud pattern..ie easier to install
