I've been looking into all different years of mustangs later and have been caught on the 2001 GT and its hard to convince my dad that the more money for the car which has more horse is better then buying a regular 6 cylinder?? What are the horsepower comparisons stock and top speeds of both the 6 and 8 cylinders?? Any Help....Josh

the GT has 260 horse, while the 6 has 190 horse. the speedo on the 6 goes to 120, while on the GT is 150. difference is how fast you get there.

that and kids with 6's think there faster than the 8's, I always give kids **** for owning a 6 unless its a girl

I don't know how old you are but I don't think that you are going to convince your father that faster is better.

I have been looking at newer like 03 mustang v6s but would rather save less work in adding mods to it to keep it up wit the v8s..would rather start out with more horse as it is and just add new exhaust and other mods....what every1 else think??

I was always into the 87-93 5.0s but im looking for a nice speedy power car...thats why i dont want to invest at all in a 6...whts the point...id rather add hp to the already quicker 8...

tell your dad to find a fox body 5.0 cuz they are cheaper also tell him that if it breaks down, u can easily buy parts to fix it from any store out there!
