New paint

My body shop painted my eleanor hood, CS Front and Rear Bumpers, and they waxed the entire car for me on delivery. I asked him if I should wait a month or two to let the paint cure, and he said that his drying system allowed me to wax it immediately. He recommended I only hand wax it though and told me to keep away from the edges for the first couple of months.

It probably has much to do with the type of paint and whether it was baked on. The safest thing would be to ask the shop where the work was done.
