just got it running last night, they sound great at idle, and pull really hard after 3500ish, i havent revved it past 6000 rpms yet because of the tune, but when its tune it should be revving to about 7000, the cam specs are: duration at .050 238/240, lift 550/525, LSA 109

Sweet! What all do you have done to your fuel system again? I know you said you were running a little lean up top before the cams. Any changes?

walbo 225, 30lb injector, 9/16 fuel rails, i think it was the fuel filter tho, i was having a starting problem when the engine was hot, i would have to cycle the key a few time to build fuel pressure, i changed the filter and it went away

nice!! whatcha doin with the other cams? lol hint hint...

haha... sorry, but me and ryan(1fun281) are going to trade some parts, hes getting the cams, and im getting 99 GT rims and tires for my DD tacoma...lol they look cool on it.

How much low and midrange did you lose (if any) compared to the older cam spec? I am cooking up a set of race cams for a NPI race motor, the intake spec is such that it will probably not work with a PI head even with a piston notch.........

honeslty, it gained a ton of mid range tq compared to the old cams, they were not degreed, so who know how much they were out, but it feels great in the 2000-3000rpm range!, i cant wait to rev this past 6200(that where my limiter is set at now) i just need the 6061 plenium, and retuned!

Thats confirming what I have been seeing, get the LSA down and advance the intake lobe as far as possible. (For those that don't understand this is how you can go a whopping 13 degrees bigger on the cam size and actually gain midrange torque)

thanks guys, ill get a video, but its pouring rain out side, so i dont want to pull her out of the garadge...lol

yeah nick, it feels amazing, i took my friend (1fun281) for a ride, and the first thing he said was how good it feeles in low-midrange rpm compared to before:nice:
