I haven't driven my car much since March when I blew a head gasket. I fixed that issue but ending up cracking a valve cover somehow and I just haven't been able to convince myself to pull off the upper to replace them. So at some point I decided that the current cam in my car was hurting my motor more than it was helping it(Trick Flow Stage 3, Gt40's, not a good combo). So now I'm at the point where I'll be tearing the motor back down again(somewhat) and I'll be replacing the Stage 3 with a Stage 1 cam, putting on new injectors(24#) and a new MAF to go along with it. To top it all off I'll be installing the new valve covers and having my upper powder coated to match. I'm going to order the cam, injectors and MAF this week and then start saving again to do a new exhaust come spring. Here's the new VC's:

And just because, a picture of my girls together:

What kind of specs and characteristics does the stage 3 have?
Is the cam going on the market when you get the stage 1?

I wouldn't Change the valve cover color. The upper intake color. And that's only if I don't like the look of it as it is.

Whoa! Those are some tall specs!
Does the PCM even allow it to run without dyno tuning?

Who knows lol it's not the best thing to drive with. Hoping the Stage 1 will make a huge difference.

I don't think so. Am I better off going with 19lbs?

Seems you are removing a problem with the cam only to add it with injectors. Swap cams. Leave the injectors. What size throttle body and MAF?

Whatever injectors you have in the car already, run 'em. No point in changing them.
