Had to put this, so amped up. Probably wont sleep for crap. LOL

First, been having traction issues off the line with my slicks. My car has always gone faster on drag radials so I bought a set of 275/50/15's of Hoosiers tire. First run ran 16psi and got some pretty serious tire spin off the line. No slip but the ET was 10.20's

Second run dropped 2 psi to 14. Upped the 2step to 3200 cause watching the video on my camera looked like it didnt hit the tires quite hard enough. Well that was the trick.

9.89@134.9mph 1.41 60'

I have a video uploading but its of a 9.92 run cause that .89 run my wife was eating and didnt get it on tape. LOL Had to dial in a 10.00 in eliminations cause I'm only legal to that. Guess its time for a cage so I can go faster. Need some 4.33 gears too, cause over the line was 8500-8600 rpm.

Ill post the video here in a little bit.

Hold on a second while I wipe away the drool.

First off I LOVE hte paint, what color is it? Looks like mystichrome.

Second she sounds AWESOME! What exhaust are you running,

What drivetrain? and is it street legal or just a strip car?

VERY nice car, A lot of cars that I see running low times are mainly a shell with an engine, no visual appeal, but your car is a looker. Did you build the car up yourself?

Its BASF Extreme Paints, same stuff that came on the 96 Cobra. Different color from that car, but same stuff.

1 3/4 headers with 3" xpipe and dynomax bullet mufflers. Dumped under the car with the exits of them pointing torwards eachother.

347 with a PA C4 and 9" rear. Its street legal, I dont drive it all that much on the street just for the fact the fuel gets expensive, but it doesn't get hot and drives just fine. I have been trailering it to the track cause the Q16 is 14 bucks a gallon, but now I'm going to switch back to C12 which is much less expensive and just drive out to the drags. Most the car I've done myself, I've owned the car since I was 15 (now 37). The engine stuff was done by a shop here locally, except for the heads and camshaft were done by Duane Busch off HC50.

Its full interior, not gutted at all. Only thing I've done to lighten the car is changing the front suspension to an AJE strut setup. 2930 with me in the car right now.

Caltracs with monoleafs. Lower hole with .050 clearance with me in the car. Strange double adjustable rear shocks. Those shocks really help with the DR being able to loosen the extension to plant the tire, and stiffen the compression to keep them planted. The rancho shocks are pretty good though.

bout time you got that car into the single digits...... Man I haven't been around in awhile and alot about your car has changed. Looks (and hooks) great.

Tell me - you like that gt500? Is it a 2011? I'm shopping for a toy again and can't see spending the time to build another classic.
