Just thought i'd throw up some current pics of my humble little power plant. Please excuse the leaky valve cover grommets







Also that crazy vacuum hose behind the carb was temporary and is done right now. That's a Ford Motorsport intake, which is just an Edelbrock Victor Jr. without the name cast in it.

Thanks guys...it sure isn't a show car that's for sure. That's why the valve covers got painted...i don't want anything high maintenance cleaning wise. The brackets are gonna get bead blasted eventually and look just like the breather lid and intake. The wiring is definitely on the to-do list as well...i'm in the process of making my own engine harness that'll eliminate 90% of what you see there.

Yeah, i've already been day dreaming it! I even have the photoshop to give an idea of how it'll look:





There's a few problems though. 1) the radiator is right there in front of those lights, so to do it i'd have to run a narrowed radiator like the old Mustangs used...not a problem, but that would mean i have to buy a custom radiator. Next, i'd need to fab up some scoops to go in where the lights went with some 3'' round outlets on the back side to hook the ducts to. Again, doable but $$$. Aside from all that, the tubes in the fenders are quite functional since they're outside the engine bay and will stay cool, and they exit right behind those rectangled openings in the front fascia. Ultimately what i'm gonna do is make up some fiberglass scoops similar to what the March ram air kit uses that'll fit into the fascia and hook to the fender tubes.

Yeah, wore out ones. I need to get some slicks and see what it'll do because it still blows the tires off in 1st and 2nd no matter what i do.
