I decided to go ahead and post some pics I took today. Though I do post on corvetteforum, I feel that my home is still stangnet. I enjoy the members here too much, and I wanted to post the first pics I have taken of the new ride here. :grouphug:

I borrowed a buddies d50 camera. I wiped down the car, but it definitely needs a good waxing. Any suggestions(Epik) are welcome

Pinnacle Souveran or Obessive Detail Wet Obsession paste wax would look really good with the black paint.

I think the pics came out great Mark. Im lovin the car alot. My only suggestion would be put some tire shine on those sidewalls next time u take pics, not the greasy wet lookin crap, but just some armor all.... & find an open space with some nice scenery in the background...



This 1 is nice, but u shouldve straightened out the wheels, nonetheless its a good pic...Keep up the good work...

The only thing I would change about the car is remove the door ding strip. It would look so much cleaner without it....

as much as i despise Chevy, i'll have to say i LOVE c5 z06's. They are the only bowtie i'd ever own. Very nice car my man. I'm just glad you didn't get an f-body. I know you said it'll be a little while till you mod her but make sure ya keep posting here and keep us stangbangers up to date. BTW Black=

Ya, like above, just two simple/cheap touches would make the car look sooo much better: Tint and removing the door ding; other than that, you are golden.

I know its a stupid question and could easily google it, but I kinda want to hear about it from you; how does it fare against the c6?

Well he is at the 1/8 mile track and just made his last pass. MPH is looking great and he has a nice 60' for not launching as hard as he can. He will post up in about an hour im sure so i'll be quiet until then

I know its a stupid question and could easily google it, but I kinda want to hear about it from you; how does it fare against the c6?

it is a bit faster than a standard 05-06ls2 c6. They put down about 10rwhp less, and are heavier than my car. The c6 got the ls3 in 2008 and that motor is just an animal. I would have a hard time keeping up with one, even though I am a little lighter.
