Ok, so after I put my other tranny in the car started having problems. It would cutout and run rich then lean and so on. Well, the temp gauge works with it unplugged off of the sending unit. So either the gauge is bad or the wire is grounding out somewhere. My oil pressure gauge does that too. It is pegged as soon as I start the car and it has a good sending unit on it. The other night, my dad and I put a new heater core in and of course we took the dash out and I wanted to see if any wires were rubbing on each other or metal. They were all pretty well insulated and I need my car but they could be messed up under the insulation. Now the car started acting better i guess because we moved some things around and maybe the wires moved. Now when I turn the heather controls on or the lights, the car kind of cuts out. It also does it when I hit a good size bump like railroad tracks or something.
