Well I managed to buy my next project car. Its a 1992 mustang LX 4cylinder car coupe, Just what I was looking for. Its in rough shape, but not horrible. I found this car and could not pass it up for $500. The motor runs perfect, interior is pretty darn clean, and best of all the chassis is straight. I will be mini tubbing it, shortening the rearend and putting a cage that will be legal for 8's...all that fun stuff.

As for the motor it will be a high compression(13.1) 408 stroker. I will be in the 8's someday haha. I cant wait to get cracking Anyway, here are some pictures I thought I would share.

Now I just need to part it out

If you need doors let me know, we should have some good ones very very soon. Also might have other parts.

Looks good, now get to work.

Good Luck on the new project.

It makes me so sick to see how some people take care of their Stangs. I saw one the other day, Reef Blue Hatch 2.3, guy wanted $3000 for it, no way. The locks were missing from ds door, hatch, no door handle, ps side had been hit and bondoed. The body gaps were all screwed up all around. Looked like someone took it apart and left out parts. Even the 10 hole caps were pushed in. People are so cruel sometimes to cars. It especially hurt knowing it was an exact copy of my stang in stock condition

Wait, thats Reef Blue, thats a 93 color, so I think you have a 93 there, not a 92. Does that make sense?

The following info is from www.mustangforums.com

92 colors were : Wild Strawberry Metallic,
Titanium Frost Clearcoat Metallic, Medium Titanium Clearcoat,
Black Clearcoat, Ultra Blue Metallic, Bright Red, Oxford White, Bimini Blue, and Medium Red

93 colors were: black, bright blue, bright red, reef blue,
electric red, royal blue, vibrant white, silver,
and bright calypso green

That car appears to be Emrald Green, which I dont see on your color list, but was a color option for 92.

We have the exact copy of your car only a stick shift, reef blue hatch. It got hit and now has a primered fender and bumper, but will be painted reef blue next year.

You are correct, there was an emerald Green in 92, I remember it well. But I don't think that one is dark enough to be Emerald Green. Maybe 87Fox can help us out with the paint code off the door sticker if he could. It's not a big deal, it just looked like a reef blue to me.

This is from www.muscularmustangs

Looks like a PA car to me, you have to take into account he was taking pics in harsh sunlight.

Yes I believe it is emerald green...

Hey 25th, sometime in the future I may have to buy that 8.8 from you
