New Radiator. Doesnt Fit too well

So i got a few parts for the stang and im currently installing them. I bought the bullit calipers and they look great compared to my stockers. Also i bought a mishimoto radiator. I have done much reading on it and i realiz that on the 97 you have to move the AC lines to the left a little bit. I did this but however the thing that really gets in the way is this bracket/protector type metal that goes around the whole ABS unit. I was wondering if removing this would cause any issues? Without removing it theres no way it would fit.

Ok well i got this sucker to fit in there by moving the abs bracket a few millimiters out of the way. However it is completely snug in there without a doubt after putting the fan in place. I have read countless posts that this radiator is likely to leak unless it has wiggle room. I dont see how it could lol. Anyone installed an aftermarket radiator and felt like it was in welded to the car???
