Just searching forums/car domains to see pics of peoples audio setups. Bought my '06 GT last summer, after trading in my 2008 GT that had the stock AUX input in the center console. I NEED an ipod hook up that does not use the stupid FM tuner.

After seeing pics of how nice that unit looks I'm heading to the store to buy the FH-P8000BT. What a great looking UNIT!

Thanks for posting the pics! I can't believe how much better a $299 CD unit looks compared to a $1000 touch CD/GPS. This unit is flush and very classy.

I think ford for the 07+ models added the triptunes accessory to their catalog which allows you to connect an ipod in your glove compartment.

that's Ford's spiel on it.

Yeah, but TripTunes is over $200. You can get a better looking and sounding stereo with iPod controls for not much more.

Yup, I can't stand the iTrip. I'd much rather have a plug in unit. And this thing looks great to boot! Much better than the stock look.

Ford's Triptunes was not that great.
Aftermarket cost less, looked and worked better.
