Haha...whatever that means....

Anyhow...I found these and thought they might look good, so after a few weeks ( about 3 or so, lol ) Dallas Mustang got these in for me and after two hours or grueling and careful work...

I present the end result.....

These replaced the "GT" emblem, which I felt never really fit the car well...

Anyhow, these are OEM swaps for the '67 cars so some modifications were needed.

They look great, I think at least....

Those do look good! I like the more subtle 4.6 detailing as well... What was the modification that you needed?

The badges are oem replacements for the '67s, which means there is no double sided tape and the emblems have four tabs that you will need to remove.

The emblems are metal, but the tabs break off with pliers pretty easily.

Getting those GT emblems off is no picnic either....

Looks great Osiris!!!!!
I have had my GT/A emblems now for nearly a month!!!!! I have not messed with it yet due to the fact of my work schedule and trying to string together a few solid 50+ temp nights in a row so that I can do my stripe install(directions say no lower than 45 degrees for 48 hours after install)and get the emblems matched up with them...
How deep are your badges? I know the GT/A ones are quite deep so using 3M double sided tape may be really tough. I have been tinkering with the idea of drilling the 2 holes for the emblems, but held off on that due to the fact I need the stripes to reference them by...such a dilema...

They aren't deep at all. one strip of tape down the middle with two squares at either end north/South were all it took.

You just need to be extra careful and file down the nubs left from the pegs that were on the horse's nose and tail.

I was really big on doing the GTA thing outside but I saw these badges and just loved 'em.

I really like the way they look on the car....

How did you get the GT emblems off and did they leave any marking behind? I have been contemplating taking mine off and not replacing with anything else.

ther are two holes behind the emblems that would need to be filled if not using another emblem.

I removed mine when it was still in the 70's here during the day. I used a credit card and gently slid it in behind the badge and pulled up. I took a few minutes on each side and I didn't even have one crack. There was a little bit of residue left behind from the adhesive, but that was removed easily with polish. There are 2 unsightly holes left behind so I got replacement emblems for now being that filling and painting is to pricey for me now.
