Well, i got these rims mounted about 2 weeks ago. Funny thing is i got them on special for $409 and then sold my Cobra R's for $350 the same day, so they cost me a whole $59! GOtta love living 8 miles away from WheelReplicas

I didnt have time to wax the car or anything so i just hosed it down and dried it, so its not too shiny but oh well. Tell me what you think of the look and whether i should tint the taillights or not ENJOY!

And alittle tweaking of the picture in this last one

tint the tail lights, but do it subtle - totally black stangs can look awkward sometimes. Urs looks good man

Lovin the black on black, very sinister looking. Where did you get the 4.6 badge on the side?

Thanks guys. Im just glad its not like every other stang with Cobra R's. Now that i got these on, i get 10x the compliments I sued to and the best part about the rims

1.) They are 18x10 out back meaning the look wider and i can run a 305/35/18 out back as soon as these wear out
2.) They weigh less than the chrome Cobra R's and its noticeable, trust me. Those of you with 18's know what i mean when i say the wheels dont feel as heavy leaving the line and also it spins ALOT easier into 2nd now.

yup

totally "blacked out" cars look horrible imo. i wouldn't tint them as that would pretty much ruin it for me, looks good as is

and damn those poor front tires are stretched like a bastard

DONT TOUCH THE TAILS! they offer a nie contrast to the blacked out look.

car looks perfect as is minus the really nasty stretched tires in front. put some meat on them suckers. stretched tires are for queer drifters.

THey dont look that stretched in real life to be honest and i really dont want to run a 265 out front. Those 245's are enough for me but next time around i'll be getting some 255's out front and 305's out back.

BTW, i see what you guys mean about the contrast that the taillights bring out the way they are. I might just leave them that was and be done with the exterior minus a set of 03 Cobra sideskirts.

- I got those badges from cjpnyparts.com i think

Car looks great man!
Are you running the Fuzion ZRI's all the way around? I have them too. I think they are very good tires considering the price! How much do the new rims weigh? I have the 17X9 Cobra R's and I think they are like 22lbs. apiece.

I HATE the black on black look that's going around nowerdays, but your car looks really clean IMO, if you add any more black, it will ruin the car. The way it is right now looks really good, I wouldn't mess with it.

Im running the Fuzions out front but have some BFG KDW II's out back for traction.
Also, my old rims were 18x9 Chrome Cobra R's but i could never find the weight on those. Wish i could though so i could compare it to these, which seem lighter. Makes sense though, i would think a painted wheel would weigh less than a fully chrome one.

spitfirees20- Believe me, i know what you mean, but i wanted a car that looked mean and aggressive without going overboard with the black like some others. Trust me, there is nothing else thats gonna be "blacked out" on this car.
BTW, thats the best sig pic i've seen in a looong time! Mua ha ha ha ha Lucifer!

you can see that that the tires are too small for the wheel.

love your car, I say black out the tail lights!

Your car looks great man! I am a bit partial to the blacked out tailights too....I almost went with some black rims also but decided on chrome. Why don't you try darkening them on photoshop and see how she looks?

Cuz i got no clue how to do that haha. There are one or 2 pics above that would work great for a photochop of the tails, but i need to find someone who's willing to do it.
