new rotors, new pads needed??

good thing the rotrs are drilled/slotted. if they were plain rotors, you would'a had a problem putting the old pads on. the pads will not be 100% flat from the old warped rotors. all rotors get warped after a few thousand miles, its innevitable. the old pads also become warped from the rotors. so putting the old pads on the new rotors would warp the new rotors faster to more severely. however, you have the slotted rotors, which act like a razor blade and cut a small amount of the surface of the pads with every rotation. the slots in the rotors will clean up the pad for you, but i personally would never do that to my own vehicle. i would to a customer, but not mine.

Definitely filled up the space!! Post a pic of them closer up if you have one ... and FWIW, I think your car looks better than the newer Cobra in the background ... don't care how fast it may be. :nice:

new rotorpro rotors

I have a set for all four corners coming drilled slotted and powder coated a custom blue to match Vista blue. I was considering Hawk HPS or ceramic? The price is about the same at Mustangtuning.com. I'll be doing SS lines later with new fluid. I was going to paint the calipers blue but the Duplicolor blue looks a little off from the Ford Vista blue so I may just go for red instead:)
So which pads for a daily driver with nice new drilled and slotted rotors?
