I have been looking at the Mannix system for a while now and I have finally decided to buy one. Is this hard to install by myself, or should I get a professional to do it?

Any tips would be helpful. Especially because I am going to seriously need this alarm features when I taken on the crimes in LA at USC.
I saw some where a diagram to bypass the stock security system, if anyone has any idea, please let me know.

I recommend you to have a professional install it.

If you have to ask, get a certified installer to do it. Especially on cars like Fords and Toyotas that have the stock passive(I think that's the term) alarm system.

I work at Bestbuy, and if you buy an alarm the install is free anyways.

I have the Matrix RSX and it works great. The company(Clifford) was pretty much handing them to us, so I got one just to check it out. Even got the remote start, although it's pointless here in FL. The remote is awesome. It's so nice knowing whether or not you locked your doors(it's so habitual I always doubt myself), and being paged when someone bumps your car.
