I just wanted to say thanx to all of you for congratulating me. After one day of service, I am still very happy about the choice I made. The extra noise, kinda, I kept the stock rubber boot that is actually on the shifter and put it on the Tri-Ax. It says in the instructions that will help witht he noise. I did it simply because I don't want dirt and other undesirables to get into my shifter. I can actually feel the gears engage so much more now, it's practically impossible to miss a shift, unless you are tired or drunk, but I won't drive my Mustang that way.

Yes, actually I did see that handle and am also conisdering buying it. It is quite a nice looking handle.

Thanx, and unfortunately I do not have any. My camera messed up when taking them, so I have to wait until I have plenty of light next time.

I would ask the dealer, or better yet, have someone else ask for you, someone that they could not connect with your car. I would not consider myself an expert on this subject, but they may actually void the warrenty. As far as I understand, and I could be very wrong, shorter throw shifters will wear out your syncros faster than a stock shifter will because you are making the syncro work faster, kind of like dropping a clutch. I hope someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in, but I believe that is how it works. Granted, anything you do to high performance your engine/trans/rear end will make it wear out faster, but then again, if you are wanting your car to go fast, you will probably never be done modding it anyway, LOL.
