So I just got done rebuilding my entire 66 coupe . Took it to the drags and did good. The next day I jump in to get some gas and the car sounds like crap because of all the squeaking front end pieces, and the rear sway bar. Does any one have a cure for these polyurethane bushings or some way to lube them? Any help would be great. I can't have the stereo blasting all the time!

The right way is to diassemble them again,(not really a big deal), and grease them liberally with a di-electric lube.(I'm sure there's another brand name for it someone will mention. It's got a consistency like vaseline).

I put em on my shackles and had the same noise problems. Tried every kind of lube and greas, and ended up e baying them and went back to quiet rubber. It's just a "loafing in" car you see.

Thanks for the help, that was what I was afraid of. The sway bars ain't a big deal, I just hope I don't have to take the spring perches off again! Thanks.
