the only different thing done to the car is autolite 3926 plugs gapped at 50.car needed retuned cuz it was tuned in january when it was cold and it was running rich now,plus the guy said he was tuning alittle different.

If you retuned it now due to warmer weather now you'll have to have it tuned again in the cold when it leans out. Sounds like a never ending costly cycle. Good thing I have a PMS to tune mine for free in cases like this

Sounds like he just didn't know how to tune it then...he has learned more. Dyno tune will be fine, the a/f ratio will remain virtually the same...that is the point of the dyno graph. We don't go tuning our stock cars for summer/winter because it doesn't need it. If done right, it won't need it...

this car rarely comes out in the cold,and definetly not in the snow nor the rain.the only reason it got tuned in january is cause it warmed up a bit and i wanted to be able to drive it when it got warmer more often.it doesnt cost me a dime to have it retuned.i just drop it off and pick it up.helps when you are friends with the person tuning it.and thanks for all the thumbs up on the numbers

no,im not leaving anything on the table.he put it on the dyno at 9:30 and it didnt come off till around 1:30.he said he tried everything to get it over 300 but nothing worked.yes a cam from ed would be nice,but i think im gonna go with mac long tubes and a prochamber for now.i gotta change my throw out bearing now so im just gonna change the clutch while im at it so the lt's will have to wait awhile.but i am only .91 away from goal of 300 w/stock cam.

a friend of mine did the heads,nothing crazy he just smoothed out the runners.didnt really port them at all.just smoothed out the rough castings.im working on posting the graph,i dont have a scanner so he has to do it at his house.i was so stunned at the #'s i didnt really ask about the timing curve but i'll find out and post it

Yeah, try and find out the timing curve if you can.

You could always try and take a digital shot of the graph and post it like that.

hmmm. and people still defend chips even though they have to have different tunes at different parts of the year.
