my pedal is so much stiffer with the new tb. will that spring break in after some time or will it always be this stiff? i know it cant be a cable because in the past i had this tb on and after i swithed back to the stock tb it just seems to be more broken in and the pedal is much lighter and easier to press. anyone else notice this and does it get better with time?

Hmm.. I think I know what you are speaking of. Did you put a new spring on with your new TB or is it the same old spring? If it is a new spring, and you no likee- do what I did and go to the "Help" section of any auto parts store and find a box of springs. Play around with them on the car and Find one that you like most.

My buddy had a sim. issue with his gen 1 lightning...he had a BBK or something t-body and after he finaly got to looking at it he found the throt. cross bar was either warped or coroded(SP? drawing blank). He got it straight or cleaned it and it was fine for a bit...it came back though.

Seems the aftermarket ones have this issue and they stick.

Mines like that too. I like it. If you twist your new tbody by hand and then twist ur stocker by hand you can easily feel that the new spring is much stiffer than the worn old stock one.
