New Throw-out-bearing, now clutch to high

The TOB went on the 2003 gt with 27000 miles. The dealer replaced it with no problems. I just got the car back and the clutch engagment area is all the way at the top of the pedal. I addition it is very tigh and short. Is it possible to change the action on the clutch. Should I look into a clutch firewall adjuster? If so which one?

The pedal used to be in line with the brake pedal. Now it's abut an inch higher. I get full clutch disengagment with the pedal about 3 inches off the floor.

as long as you have an inch or so of travel before the clutch starts to disengage(pushing it in) it should be right....sounds about right to me...mine catches around the same area

What is the typical engagement area?

After driving a LS1 with GM's pitiful excuse for a hydraulic clutch my Mustang feels alot different but in a good way.

I will have to give it a week. At lunch it is already feeling a little loser. It also might just be that I was driving a Ranger with 170,000 miles on it. Clutch action quite different between the two.

agreed. but you should always have about an inch or play at both ends or the clutch pedal. But from what it sounds like Russ' car's friction zone is pretty high. get a aftermarket clutch quadrant like steeda or upr and a firewall adjuster/adjustable cable.
