Well I went down to test and tune for the last time this year before they close up shop....well for me anyway. Here is how it went:

1st run
reaction: .474
60ft: 2.165
8th: 9.107
8thmph:78.631
1/4: 14.055
mph: 97.391

I know its not fast but its .5 second faster than my previous best but not the fastest run I ran of the night!

2nd run
reaction: .467
60ft: 2.116
8th: 8.937
8thmph:79.562
1/4: 13.779
mph: 101.153 *Best MPH

This one showed some promise but I'm not done yet...it had more in it.

3rd run I get paired up with a 03-04 cobra....and a nice blonde
reaction: .426
60ft: 1.924 *best 60ft
8th: 8.657 *best 8th
8thmph:79.468*best 8th mph
1/4: 13.519*best 1/4
mph: 100.594

I take my lose by 0.02 she ran a 13.499, girls are fast too guys lol

Over all I think the car did pretty good. I need to stop sleeping at the light and get a better take off. I also need some cal tracs bad. I chirped on my 1st to 2nd shift twice and I had one more run where I tried to leave at 3500 with a good burn out and spun through 1st gear..still had a 13.8 though I also didn't get to use the nos. The tires wouldn't have held it anyway.

Damn. Shave half a second with, what, just a cast iron head swap ? That's great man. A few more times at the track, and maybe high 12's ?

Na my best was 13.51 so thats a full second off my previous of 14.5 with the cast head swap and the bigger tires. If I get some cal tracs I definatly think if I can get it hooked up better I have a good shot at high 12s...sadly I'll have to wait until next year to do it. With the Nitrous....who knows maybe 11s

I need to reword that I guess lol. The first run was .5 seconds faster than my previous best. I ended up a full second faster than my previous best with a 13.5. If didn't have the over heating problem I could have squeeked out a faster run but I think I'm going to have to pull the heads soon and see whats going on.
