Hey folks.
I'm Justin from California. Haven't had a mustang for a while but looking to fix that!

I had an 88 hatchback 10 or so years ago and am desperately seeking it.
It was pretty unique with a glossy powder white paint job.

BUT what really gave it away was having a GT fog light switch with an LX body.
Dude I bought it from claimed it was actually a GT but he took the body kit of since it scraped.
It also had the EFI removed and was carbed.

It had H&R springs, Koni dampeners, a strut tower brace(4 point), the valve covers were poorly painted white.
I also installed an MSD 6AL ignition.
It had BBK shorty headers.
Cervinis cowl hood
Saleen wing.

I sold it to an interesting guy from Utah, I think it was near Salt Lake city.
Last I heard the 18" silver cobra r's were stolen and he put 17" chrome reps on in their place.

I know this is a long shot but I need her back. It hurts!

Any help or info would be freaking amazing.

And of course, no, I don't have the VIN or plate. . . :/

Welcome to stangnet brother.

I live in Oklahoma and haven't seen it here.

I'll move your post to the fox subforum. Maybe one of the guys there might have seen it.

Maybe just buy another one and do a repeat?

Thank you!

I need to put in reasonable effort to find it first.
If I can't in a month or so i'll look for another.

But to find THAT one and be able to modify it and have it again.

Can't really put it into words.

If the car was titled in your name-the DMV would have the info. Having the vin would be a good starting point lol.

Oh.... and Welcone to Stangnet

Some states have an archive of vehicles that are/were titled in your name. Have dmv check for all vehicles titled to you past and present. You will likely have to do this in person, that will get you the vin. They probably won't tell you who it's registered to now because of privacy laws. There are data bases that will show who owns it but you can't get that info unless you know someone in the title business. You are in California, I don't know the regulations there but I know people there. See if you can get the vin first and we can go from there.

Local DMV would be more help. If it was titled in your name you can at least get a VIN.

If you have the same insurance company they sometimes have the VIN info as well...
