Hey guys! My name is Jennie from the SF Bay area and I am somewhat new to the whole Mustang thing. I have dabbled in the SN95 scene but never owned a Mustang myself. I do own a 1969 Dodge Dart and a 1971 VW Baja Bug which I have put a ton of work into so I'm fairly auto-literate. The bug unfortunately hasn't run in years but the Dart runs fairly hard (for being close to stock). Anyway, my boyfriend and I decided to get a Mustang as a neutral ground for us to work on something together (he has a 71 Chevelle). We picked up this 1991 5.0 LX auto on Labor Day. It has some bolt-ons but starts up and runs like a freaking champ. I feel super lucky to have found it given where we live since it is fairly unmolested. Our largest issue with it was a small trans fluid leak which we made worse this weekend so we have a new deep pan coming our way (and a torque wrench LOL). Also, the throttle response is not what it should be so I have to do some digging to figure that one out. We also got rid of those 20" wheels this weekend but don't have any good updated pics yet.

Anyway, this site looks like a pretty good resource so I will be lurking around quite a bit.

Thanks!

Ooh! I remember the 90's LX. Wish we had an affordable V8 nowadays! That thing was about $15K new! I remember looking at them on the lot new. They had a nice strawberry metallic!

Wow that's a great find! Your underhood pics look promising, do the heads have three bars on the front? The intake while not pretty is an explorer piece which is the same as a 93 cobra (flow wise)
