Son and i built a 1965 coupe in 2011 when he was in high school.

Has a C4 and a 302 block from a 69. I just bought a T5 from 1994 Mustang GT hoping to put in this car.

Will be researching and needing some parts to convert to the manual tranny. And lots of questions like...

Will the bellhousing mount right on to the old 302 block? adapter plate? etc...

Thanks

Welcome to stangnet, you will need a sn95 5.0 bellhousing for that trans. Best thing would be to get over to the classic forums and explain what you want to do, they will help you stay on track.

I guess the tranny came with a bell housing, will that particular bellhousing fit the 1969 302 block? Thanks

The sn95 t5 has a different bell housing and input shaft. The shifter will not hit the correct spacing for you.

You want the bell housing and input shaft from a "fox" mustang. (93 or older)

This is why I said to post in the classic forums, I guess I could have moved it.
I answered his specific question and someone more knowledge about that vintage adaption chimed in with good info,
Thanks Chip
