Hello everyone, new to the stang world and these forums seem to have endless info...I'm on r1 forum and never needed a shop to really fix anything as long as I had told needed...so I hope stangnet will b the equivalent of that.
My 1st mustang is a 2000 3.8 w 150k SCT tuner/ duel flow master side exhaust/ cold air intake...all I have noticed so far..old car blew head gasket along w many other issues and came across this mustang for decent price and got it from another autotech I work with so it been maintained for the most part. I'm slowly noticing odd things bout it, only had it 2 weeks, but main issue is throwout bearing..I believe..slight squeeking at lights w clutch disengaged, shifter has alil extra vibrations, clutch pedal has a nice pulsation_sometimes bouncing so hard it rattles dash until I lift up on it from underneath w my foot..feels like I can move it a 1/4-1/2 inch and then most of the issues tone down quite a bit...the side exhaust needs a few hangers added, may b some of the vibration issue...and the SCT tuner....not sure what the hell its tuned or how to adjust..know I can hook up and choose between 2 tunes...1 for 87 octane and the other is 93 octane....I think its missing the wire to connect to CPU....more questions to come...I'll b sure to post in proper area if set up like that next time...
