hey guys, i have an 03 f150 5.4 ill be putting a mustang e-fan in, with a fan controller from MADENTERPRISE. LMR has five different fans listed for mustangs from 94' all the way up to 09' and prices from $84 to $134.

first question, is there any difference between these fans besides the shroud? (current draw, CFM, connector)

second question, these fans dont appear to come with pigtail connectors, can i get one online? or am i better off going to the junk yard?

third question, does anyone here know anything about these LMR fans? i didnt see any warranty info, and i dont like using cheap parts. especially when it comes to something as critical as engine cooling.

i'd appreciate any info yall have to share.
here's a pic of the truck

Welcome!

Not a 100% sure but I know a lot of guys put the Tuarus and Mark viii fans in their cars as they pull a ton more air... I did it on my 88 GT when I had it and it worked wonders!

I bought the fan from pick and pull and got a thermostat controller form O'riley's and spent a total of 45 bucks. I was able to pull of a stock-ish look too.

i opted to go for the mustang fan over the mark viii fan for a couple reasons. the mark viii fan pulls a rediculous amount of current on start up, and constantly draws something like 30 amps on low speed. not to mention mustang fans are much cheaper new, and fan motors are cheaper and easier to come by. the mustang fan also draws less current. about 30 amps on low speed start up, and about 35 amps constant on high speed. im going to trim the shroud on the fan to mount it inside my factory shroud to take full advantage of the fan. i was just wondering if any o the fans from 94-04 were more efficiant, or pulled more air.
