I am new to the forums but not to the mustang world. Fox is my passion and I own 2 of them. I have and 82 T-top 5.0 fox and an 88 hatch 5.0 fox. The purpose of this post is to give a little bit of a glimpse into what i have done to the cars.
82 T-top: 331 eagle stroker all forged internals, .040 mahle flat top pistons, stock .444 lift flat tappet cam, Crane 1.72 pedestal mount roller rockers, x306 aluminum heads, edelbrock stage 2 intake, edelbrock performer 600cfm 4barrel carb, stock SROD 4 speed tranny looking to switch to a TKO500, BBK shorty headers to Pypes X-pipe to 40 series flowmasters, 3:73 running gears. This car is an all motor naturally aspirated fun car nothing too wild. But still fast enough to get the job done.
88 hatch: regular stroke all forged internals, .040 mahle flat top pistons, E303 roller cam, ford 1.6 stud mount roller rockers, Trick flow 170 twisted wedge track heat heads, trick flow stage 2 lower intake, trick flow upper intake, BBK 70MM throttle body, Vortech V2 s-trim super charger, T-5 tranny, BBK long tube headers to BBK off road X-pipe to 40 series flowmasters. 3:73 running gears. This car packs quitet a punch and sounds great.
I will hopefully be able to post so videos up soon. I am in the middle of restoring both of these cars and look forward to showing off the finished products.
