I was like wow that is a crazy deal, but then you told us the mileage. Still a good deal on a solid car. My first thoughts were damn I got ripped off. I paid that much for a GT with about the same mods. But mine only had 45k on the clock.
yeah, but everything else i was looking at was way over my budget, and everything on it seems sound, had my mechanic buddy go look at it with me and he gave the thumbs up. So yeah, thats the only bad part is the mileage.
Good idea having someone look at that for you...buying something boosted with that kinda miles can be a gamble. That thing should have plenty of nut .....
116k miles isn't bad. My car has 120k and it's in FAR better shape than most cars I've seen with a lot fewer miles just because it's been well loved. It always got lots of attention, although it's currently mummified in the garage. As a car that hasn't been sitting around, 116k miles is fairly low for it's age if you consider it should be more like 14yearsx(10 or12k)=140-170k miles for an average car.
Don't have the build number ( where can i find it? ), and no dyno or track spec's yet. probably wont take it to the track till i get VERY comfortable with it. heh. but the seller is currently being difficult. just waiting to hear back from him. he wants me to pay cash, not willing to do that. I need a paper trail just in case. so offered to take him to the bank with me to get the cashiers check. let's see what he says when he gets the msg.
