Hi all, new to this forum. if you visit some of the other Mustang sites, you might recognize me. If not, well that's OK Located in SW Michigan.
As the screen name says I'm way into racing (short tracks asphalt late model) but I have some ponies to play with too. My favorite car ever is a 67 Shelby. Can't afford that, but I do have a 67 fastback. 289, 4sp. She's kinda tired and needs restored, but I get to drive her during the summer. Not really doing much work to her other than keeping her going.
Mustang II is a 77 fastback (see what I did there?? clever huh?) for my daughter **Shelby- I swear to God the name was my wife's idea anyway, original 6cyl car being converted to 302. T-Tops and 5 lug with disc brakes.
There are build threads located here- Mustang II Network Forums - Shelby's Mustang
and here- Shelby's Mustang - MustangForums.com
basically same content, just depends which site you prefer
So you'll see me here, lurking & commenting as I have time. And if you're ever in Kalamazoo on a Friday night next summer, stop by the track and say 'hi'.
