Bought this baby with half the insurance money. $2500. and my brother has a 71 coupe as you can see in the pics and my dad has a 68 conv. with a 289. Im used to the 5.0 talk but i guess ill be hanging around both sections from now on.

Well, here you go. its a project. needs body work and some freshening up. but none the less, it's a '71 Mustang with a 351C.

looks like it should be a fun project! good luck! its really too bad its a MN car tho, i know first hand how much darn salt we get up here! :( it doesn't look to bad though.

Looks like my car did when I bought it.

You've got a lot of work ahead of you my friend.

My advice:
Invest in a MIG welder and start learning how to weld. You're going to need it! Wish I bought one sooner rather than paying someone else for a job I had to redo myself 5 years later.

Welcome to the classics!

lol i know someone who is real good with body work. he got a totaled expedition and made it look like its from the factory. mind u its dark green. hard color. and he's 82. not bad for a man of his age. ima see if i do the body work with him.

lol yeah thats true. sheet metal panels are easy as hell to find for these mustangs. my brother had a '70 xr7 with a 351C. bought it for $450 and with about a grand had it pretty well setup but the rust under the vinyl top was too much. sold for $4500.
