New to website have Q?

Hello all I always visted this site to check out stuff I always loved the fox bodies and I finally got hold of a Fathers 93 Cobra it's 99.99% stock just Flowmaster exhaust oh and a new RAM clutch. I really don't know much about tunning/mods I wish to learn, I love the car and every ask me about it and stuff I know the base fact about it but I would love to gain rwhp and more torq and a louder/meaner exhaust. Any tips on what is the best way to start I know from back to front but what is the eaiser way to start? anything will be great to hear.

Edit: I guess I forget to say I want it to be a street beast I'm not really interested in track/strip since my busy life rarely would give me the chance to take it there this is now my daily driver

<P.S.> My user name isnt suppost to be SVT I just don't want people to think I'm a tool and thought it was STV. =D

In my opinion you should leave 93 cobras alone. they are like the holy grail of fox bodies. or at very least save all original parts and be able to convert it back. if you want something to just beat around town sell the snake and buy a very very nice fox. those cars are bringing a very pretty penny these days.
be kind to the cobra... please.

Yeah it's been in my family since 98, I alwayed wo keep it stock but over time sitting it just got sun damage and something hit the front end only chipping the paint, I just love the car and wanted her to kick ass I guess I should just keep her the way she is and work on a nother car then.

Yeah but she early numbers red/clearcoat/power everything/ moonroof/defroster and whatever else was all the package same as the R that year

Well the r had features deleted. So if it has power everything and a moonroof, it's not the same as the r.

honestly, you are better off putting the mod money towards a restoration. A nice clean stock cobra is worth more than a modded one in some cases. I know it's tough to do though...trust me I've been there.

Got pics?

Login | Facebook is the album on facebook I took them with my DSI and just uploaded thru a app she has gotten 2 coats of wax since then so she is cleaner not that she bad then. Yeah I mean she been a everday driver when being used I want to store her and work on restoring her for a show car down the road, I just love the car so much I want her to be drive you know? It's my baby lol.....

Edit: And yeah I know mine isnt an R I just ment I couldn't remember what the 4 bonus features where at the time that where power seats which is what i forgot along with the moonroof, rear defrosters, and leather but mines like #187 I think if that what the SVT papers said been a while since I looked at it

hey i own a 1993 cobra... if you want to gain some horses but keep it relatively stock you can just throw a cam in it. i have stock heads and just a mildy ported stock cobra intake and an e303. i put down 267 rwhp and 304 ftlbs. making it close to a 50-60 hp gain over the 235 fwhp stock. i run a catted x pipe with 2 chamber flows. has a nice growl with the cam heres a video of it.

i wouldn't modify that car either!

i had a 93 cobra stolen in 1995. i owned it for eight months. it was a beautiful car.

i'm the original owner of my 1991 lx hatch. it has 55,000 original miles. strawberry with black interior.

one of my biggest regrets is that i modified the car to the point that it's relatively useless now (full cage, no heater/radio, 410 gear etc.... drag car now).

still a cool car but i really wish i had a 55,000 mile, original paint, survivor/driver.
