new toy

hey scoob what bike do you have  I was going to get the GSXR 600 but ended up with the R6. I believe the resale is better. both bikes are outstanding. I plan on in a couple of years upgrading to the R1. I still can not believe the wife finnaly said yes to getting another bike

mines is basicly an r7 but it just an 87 fz700 with the same 5v head that sets the yamaha R bikes apart from the rest of the yamaha bikes.its supose to run 11.5@119 but i dout i can get it to run that fast

Great looking bike Phil. I will let you know if I get any of those days off this week. With crane rental you never know till the moment it happens.

Jeff, if you get a street bike I will get a dirt bike. Deal? Oh God, what have I done?

Gonna resurrect this thread from the dead...

Nice looking bike. I'm looking for some riding buddies so let me know if you're planning on any day rides - I'd love to tag along. Don't know if I can keep up though...

day rides are kind of hard for me since I watch my son during the day and work at night but I am on vacation this week so I have the weekend off

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town until late Sunday this weekend. Hopefully the weather will hold out for another month or so and we can get some folks together for a ride. I'll definitely be checking out the Sweet Ride deal - that sounds like it could be a good time. It's not a bunch of knee draggin' peg scrapers is it?

not really they usually break in to 2 groups slow and fast i consider my self in the slow group but on my last ride i guess the small group i was riding with was just off the fast group pace
