New Transmission installed, and smelling clutch?

Hey guys, I want to say these forums are really helpful. Probally the most knowledgeable forums out there.

Recentley my tranny broke apart, 3rd and 4th gear blew up. So I brought it to the dealer and had it fixed for free because it was warranteed. They brought it to Ted's Transmissions in Weymouth MA, like a 3 minute drive from my house.

They put in a brand new tranny

I got it back yesterday and all of a sudden I can smell clutch. It feels like the clutch grabs more at the end of the pedel (closest towards your body) sorry I suck at explaining things lol. But I dont know if it was like that or they didnt adjust the clutch right. I was driving my dads 5 speed 03 Mach 1 back and fourth to work, his clutch grabs a lot lower. So I dont know if its because I was used to driving his car, or if my clutch isnt adjusted right.

But smelling the clutch is that from the clutch needing to be adjusted? or? Thanks for the help guys, like I said these forums are awsome. Thanks again

Pull up on with your toe on the clutch cable. Its a self adjusting. That should fix your issue. Hopefully the clutch has not fried itself yet.

Okay cool, is there a way i can make it so the clutch grabs lower? Like say if i put my foot all the way down on the clutch, can i make it so it grabs like an inch or so after that? Sorry I have a hard time explaining that hopefully you know what i mean, thanks man
